Preform

PET plastic granules are heated, and the molten plastic is injected under high pressure into a special mold containing threaded bottle necks using an injection molding machine. After cooling and solidification, the preform is demolded to obtain a threaded cylindrical shape. The preheated preform can then be placed into a finished bottle mold for stretch blow molding into various shapes of plastic bottles.
